Waterfall Kozjak
Waterfall Kozjak, or the Great Kozjak, is the highest and the most known waterfall on the Kozjak stream, that enters Soča river nearby Kobarid.
The stream has actually 6 waterfalls on its way, and the highest Great Kozjak is 15m tall. This waterfall is one of the most visited sightseeing spots around Kobarid and in the whole region, also due to easy access to the place.
The waterfall is about 20 min walk from the parking place by a well-arranged pedestrian road. The path goes along the Soča, giving a lot of beautiful looks on the river, and also passes by a stone bridge constructed in 1895. From the bridge it is also possible to see the 6th 8m tall waterfall on the stream.
