Kanin - the highest Slovenian skiing resort
About Kanin
Kanin is not only the highest, but also the only high-mountain ski resort in Slovenia - it lies on 2300 meters above sea level. In year 2010 it became also the only border ski center in Slovenia. The new cableway connects Slovenian ski resort Kanin with the Italian ski resort Sella Nevea.
The skiing season lasts from December to the end of April.
Kanin is also a paradise for the free-ride skiing, with a lot of powder snow and off-road pistes (with experienced guide).

The mountain bike park Kanin
When the winter season ends, the Mountain bike park Kanin welcomes all the extreme bikers.
Mild winter allows to bike even in winter months.
Mountain tour and natural wonders on Kanin
During the summer, the mountain Kanin is also an interesting starting point for numerous mountain tours. One of the natural attractions on the mountain is the Prestreljenik window.
